Accommodations

There is no host hotel for this conference. There are several lodging options, but none of the hotels are within walking distance of University of Denver (DU) and Sturm College of Law.

The University of Denver is partnered with several hotels in the vicinity. You can find that information on the Places to Stay Near DU page. Use the reservation links contained therein to obtain the DU discounts. We suggest that attendees look at hotels in the Cherry Creek North/Shopping District (zip code 80206) which are the most used by the law school. There are also a couple of hotels downtown, that are close to the Light Rail E Line which runs to DU.

Transportation

  • Light Rail from Airport: The RTD Light Rail from the airport to downtown Union Station (A Line) is $10 and generally is the quickest and cheapest, and it's easy even with luggage.
    • An Uber or Lyft from the airport will be upwards of $100 in our experience and can take much longer than the train.
    • An Uber or Lyft from Union Station to Cherry Creek is about $30.
  • Light Rail from Downtown to DU: The E Line runs from downtown to the DU stop which is just 3 short blocks from the Law School.
    • There is no light rail that goes to the Cherry Creek North/Shopping District.
  • Bus to Campus: There is a bus line (Route #24) that runs from the Cherry Creek area (at 1st Street) to DU (at Evans Ave).
  • Parking: There are paid parking places close to the Law School, but there is no free parking at the law school. (We are working on possible parking permits for the duration of the conference.)
  • Car Rental: DU also has a partnership with Enterprise Rent-A-Car:
